Apartment 24

Apartment 24 tells the story of a relationship falling apart. Memories loop, repeat and shift, becoming a kaleidoscopic visual language in which everyday gestures are performed with precise, almost virtuosic detail. Combining dance, theatre, mime, music, projection and design, the piece explores love, loss and anxiety, and the way lives move in spirals: returning to the same moments, but never quite to the same place.

Created by Jos Baker for Lenka Vagnerová & Company, Apartment 24 premiered on 10 October 2026 at Divadlo Komedie, Prague, in co-production with Prague City Theatres.

“Jos Baker’s production fuses physicality and matter, and where the two meet it brings out sensitivity and dramatic necessity.” — Hana Strejčková, Opera PLUS

“What Jos Baker’s production brings is precision, and a real commitment to its chosen movement vocabulary.” — Kristina Soukupová, Taneční aktuality
